Historic and modern design classics

Gubi design is characterised by timeless and durable products that express functionality in creative designs. The company, which operates from Copenhagen, has an extensive product range that includes historic and modern classics. You can purchase a Gubi chair, sofa or other pieces of seating, but the catalogue also features tables, beds, carpets and interior objects. The brand also has a versatile range of Gubi lighting.

From family business to design house

The foundations for today’s company were laid in 1967. Initially, releasing designs by internationally renowned designers was not the main objective of the founder and namesake Gubi. For a long time, the focus was on the sale of textiles and the production of in-house created furniture. The change came when son Jacob Gubi became involved in the company and eventually took it over from his parents. Under his leadership, the range was expanded to include furniture and lamps by other designers, and the brand acquired a leading position in interior design all over the world. Today, the company has offices throughout Northern Europe. In addition to Gubi Italy, Spain, Portugal, France and Switzerland, there are also offices in Russia, the United States, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
